Videos: New Clips & Promo Art For The House That Jack Built

A new batch of clips have been released for The House That Jack Built. The film screened at Cannes and received a strong response, with people reportedly walking out of the screening and then Tweeting that it was it "vile," "gross" and "vomitive." Written and directed by Lars von Trier, it features a cast that includes Matt Dillon, Uma Thurman, Bruno Ganz, Ed Speleers, Sofie Grabol, Riley Keough and Yu Ji-tae.

A new piece of promo art was also released that replicated the Eugène Delacroix’s painting The Barque Of Dante (1822), which is loosely based on fictional events taken from canto eight of Dante’s Inferno.

"The House That Jack Built tells the story of the highly intelligent Jack over a span of 12 years and introduces the murders that define Jack’s development as a serial killer. We experience the story from Jack’s point of view, while he postulates each murder is an artwork in itself. As the inevitable police intervention is drawing nearer, he is taking greater and greater risks in his attempt to create the ultimate artwork.”
