It's well known by now that Solo: A Star Wars Story didn't do as well as Disney and Lucasfilm had hoped. But Ron Howard is maintaining a positive attitude about his entry in the Star Wars universe and has been personally responding to tweets with nothing but grace and class. Although the ticket sales weren't what they had expected, most fans have had good things to say about the movie. After Rian Johnson's The Last Jedi, some have chosen not to buy tickets for the character prequel, but honestly they're missing out.
I’m proud of #SoloAStarWarsStory and the cast & crew worked hard to give fans a fun new addition. As a director I feel badly when people who I believe (& exit polls show) will very likely enjoy a movie... don’t see it on a big screen w/great sound. https://t.co/KADHwqU8so— Ron Howard (@RealRonHoward) June 10, 2018
