Just when you thought this week couldn't get any stranger, a little bit of news comes out of left field that piques our interest in more ways than one. In the '80s, Terry Gilliam's time travel adventure saga, The Time Bandits gained quite a cult following that still continues to build. Now, it looks like Apple (yes, the tech company) has purchased the rights to the property and all things related to it. They're currently in the beginning stages of developing a small screen translation that will be available via streaming. Being a huge fan of the film, it would be really cool to see something done with Time Bandits again.
In other news, they're also working on a reboot of Amazing Stories that Bryan Fuller already dropped out of and numerous other shows.
