With the new Halloween film hitting theaters this October with the full blessing of John Carpenter, it's now amazing news to hear he's releasing a brand new original soundtrack in multiple formats. The brand new music which is an obvious throwback to the classic score will be hitting digital, CD, and various vinyl formats on October 19th. This will be his first time producing music for the series since the third film in the franchise.
The latest Halloween sees Jamie Lee Curtis return to the role of Laurie Strode in a chapter that's said to retcon the sequels. The new score will pay tribute to the original soundtrack from the 1978 classic.
