Is there a single day without comic book movie news? We don't think so. Today, casting news broke that LaMorne Norris (a co-star on New Girl) has just joined the feature film adaptation of Bloodshot which will star Vin Diesel in the title role. Norris will play scientist Wilfred Wigans, an ally to Bloodshot. The film is also set to star Michael Sheen, Eiza Gonzalez, and Tony Kebbell will also be featured in lead roles. Blur studios' Dave Wilson will be helming the project as the director.
Bloodshot first appeared in comic form in 1992. The Valiant title was about a mortally wounded soldier that has the powers to regenerate through nano-machines that have been injected into his blood. The book ran for 110 issues with over 7 million issues sold.
