Just released in Japan last month, the live action Bleach movie is coming to Netflix sooner than anyone could have thought. The new adaptation about Ichigo Kurosaki will make its way to the streaming platform on September 14th where it will join its fellow live action incarnation brethren Fullmetal Alchemist and Death Note. While many fans are questionable about how it might translate to a film, it seems that the trailer drummed up plenty of interest and it had quite a bit of success on home turf where it saw a theatrical release.
Bleach has been huge for years, with numerous different formats for the title including the Manga, the anime series, and a stage musical. Although the movie hasn't had much of a positive critical response so far, it's nowhere near the ravaging that Death Note received when it hit Netflix.
