A first batch of photos have just appeared online courtesy of JustJared.com. These brand new images show Joaquin Phoenix on the set of the upcoming Joker movie from director Todd Philips. This iteration of the character will be separate from the current DCEU canon and will be part of a separate universe from Warner Bros.. The newest film is said to be inspired by the crime films of Martin Scorsese and has an amazing cast so far.
