News: Do You Bleed? Affleck Reportedly Out As Batman

Yes, we've read this news numerous times. And we know, nothing has ever been confirmed.

But today, it appears that there's a major shakeup happening at Warner Bros. DCEU. With Henry Cavill leaving the role of Superman, it seems that more dire news is hitting the internet, but still not fully confirmed. With Cavill out, it also looks like the oft rumored departure of Ben Affleck as Batman is actually coming to fruition. Comicbook.com and various other sources are hot on the trail of what's happening over at WB and none of it is good for their universe. They're now saying that Affleck will not be returning in any new films as Bruce Wayne or Batman.

Months ago, Forbes writer Mark Hughes wrote that, “He's not Batman in this movie. As of now, there are no plans to involve Affleck, and the situation behind the scenes is that he's been arranging his exit from the DCEU for months".  And with recent reports that WB has been eyeing other, younger stars like Jake Gyllenhall or Kit Harrington to don the cowl, it might finally be true.  With Affleck entering rehab again and one of the other main stars of Justice League making his move out of the role, it's been said that we should be preparing for an official word from the studio.

Usually we shy away from unconfirmed news, but this seems like it might be what's really happening in the expanded world of men in capes. Still, we say take it with a grain of salt.
