Henry Cavill announced today on his Instagram that he will be Geralt on Netflix’s long gestating series. The series will follow the novels by Andrzej Sapkowski as opposed to the CD-Projekt Red games.
The series has been in development for over a year and Cavill has been not so quietly campaigning for the part, revealing during an interview that The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt was his favorite game and posting fan art of him as Geralt to his Instagram.
