Neil Marshall's gestating film, The Reckoning gets the greenlight in the wake of fan excitement for his upcoming Hellboy reboot. The Reckoning is set to star Charlotte Kirk in a female driven story set around the witch hunts and the great plague of England around 1665.
The story will focus on Evelyn Haverstock (played by Kirk), who is a young widow, troubled by the suicide of her husband Joseph. Falsely accused of being a witch by her landlord after she rejects his creepy advances.
With a script by Marshal, Edward Evers-Swindell and Kirk, who is also serving as Executive Producer. Also producing (Try not to laugh, please), are MoviePass Films CEO's and Co-founders Randall Emmett, George Furla and Ted Farnsworth.
So there we have it! Let's wait and see how this turns out.
