Now with the huge success of the newest Halloween entry, it looks like the original Freddy Krueger wants to come back one more time. For years, Robert Englund had commented that he might be too old to don the costume for another movie in the franchise. But after Halloween has made its presence known again after years and after Englund's appearance in the Freddy makeup for an episode of The Goldbergs, he seems to think he might just have one more movie left in him. While we've already had a full reboot starring Jackie Earl Haley as the character. Haley is definitely a great actor but his updated version of Krueger didn't sit well with fans. Englund has recently spoken with Access and didn't rule out coming back one more time:
"I think they want to reboot the franchise, but they’re gonna need a new actor. They gonna need a new actor to play Freddy because they’re gonna have to do 8 of them, you know. I might have one left in me."
Obviously fans would love to see him in at least one more movie. He still looks great in the Freddy makeup as teased for The Goldbergs.
