Ever since the best television series ever, Breaking Bad, left the air, there has been speculation that that world would or could be revisited in film form. With the continued success of Better Call Saul, fans of the series are still extremely interested in seeing further expansion of the show they fell in love with. Now, word is breaking all over the internet including from reputable sources like Movieweb that there is something gearing up for production late this Fall. Apparently, the New Mexico Film Office has announced production on a film called Greenbrier. But a source on the inside of the project has leaked that they're actually prepping a movie based in the Breaking Bad world that will film in Albuquerque. It's been long known that the series has used false names in the past. The film office refused to either confirm nor deny the project.
No real details have been released as of yet, but some are saying that the movie may be focusing on Aaron Paul's Jesse Pinkman after the conclusion of the series. Again, it's all speculation at this point. But it's nice to think that this might finally become a reality.
