Box Office Projection: M. Night Shyamalan's Glass on Course for $70 Million + Opening

After a mid-career downturn, M. Night Shyamalan has finally regained some solid footing as a major player in Hollywood. With his first hit film The Sixth Sense making him a household name he would later go on to release the terrible live action version of The Last Airbender. Since his return to the thriller genre with The Visit he seems to once again be turning out great films. His last film Split ended up being a perfect return to form that saw him start a shared universe. Coming next month, fans will finally get the third entry in the Unbreakable world, Glass.

Now, early projections are showing that Glass will be a huge hit for the director. Numerous reports have hit the internet today saying that the film will hit somewhere between $70-75 million in its opening weekend. Using a great early marketing campaign and a MLK weekend release are definitely helping the pre-release estimations.
