Fans of the Alien series and the previous Alien:Isolation video game are about to get a special treat. A new mobile game, Alien:Blackout will feature a new story about Amanda Ripley between the events of Alien and Aliens. This latest game that bridges the gap will once again pit Ellen Ripley's daughter against a batch of acid bleeding Xenomorphs. The mobile game was developed by Rival Games and Theory Interactive. This entry picks up after the events of Isolation and will see the character aboard a Weyland-Yutani space vessel as the aliens once again attempt to vanquish all human life.
In other news, Cold Iron Studios is in the early phases of releasing a massive Alien multiplayer shooter that will be available on consoles and PC.
