First he was Conan. Then he was Aquaman. Now, he joins another massive franchise.

Every day there is more casting news coming out about Denis Villeneuve's upcoming retelling of Frank Herbert's Dune. Yesterday, it was announced that Josh Brolin has joined the already stellar cast of amazing actors. Now, it looks like the motion picture is getting another dose of lifeblood in the vein of Aquaman himself. That's right. The charismatic Jason Momoa has now signed on to play Duncan Idaho, a lethal swordsmen in the House of Atreides. This is just another wonderful addition to  Villeneuve's latest science fiction spectacle.

It's been previously announced that this is being planned as a series and will be a multi film arc for the legendary property.
