Just when we thought the upcoming Swamp Thing series couldn't get any better, we get word that Adrienne Barbeau will be picking up a role in Len Wiseman's new series that will stream on DC Universe. Obviously, Barbeau was one of the main stars of the original movie. Now, she's taken to Twitter to announce her return to the swamp. Written by Mark Verheiden and Gary Dauberman. The show will be a new origin tale for its central character and scientist Alec Holland. The show is expected to start streaming sometime next year with a potential release of May 10th, 2020.
