Halloween News: Titles And Release Dates Set for Sequels

Last year, Michael Myers returned to theaters and proved there was still lifeblood left in the decades old franchise. Retconning all the previous sequels, Halloween (2018) saw the killer return to form in a movie that seemed to call back to a better time in slasher horror. With the financial success of the film and fans still clamoring for more of the masked murderer, there was no doubt that we'd be getting more from the series. Word broke earlier this week that there would be two more films and they might film back to back. Today, another announcement was made that solidifies the final two entries in this trilogy with official titles and release dates.

Halloween Kills is set to hit cinemas on October 16, 2020 and the followup, Halloween Ends will come out a year later on October 15, 2021. Jamie Lee Curtis is set to reprise her role as Laurie Strode in the two new films. Not much else has been released as far as casting goes. But fans of the series will be happy to know that we're getting more Halloween. At long last, this franchise might end. But we'll see. Money talks.
