What in the hell is going on over at Warner Bros.? Why do they need to rush and cram in as many Justice League team members as possible? Marvel is already way ahead and have done it the right way. Warner needs to stop with the franchise envy and look at the big picture. Marvel took the time and presented their characters over numerous films while dedicating themselves to the franchise as a whole. Warner is hell bent on transforming their Superman sequel in to a mess of comic book characters that definitely won't get the respect or detail they deserve.
Do we really need another Spiderman 3 situation? Absolutely not.
To put it lightly, this latest casting choice is simply terrible. We stood by the casting of Affleck as Batman and even went as far as to post an article defending the casting decision. But Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman? Hold the phone. Yes, she's an attractive woman. But, she lacks the characteristics, structure and possibly the acting chops to make Wonder Woman a viable on screen character. Diana Prince is not a thin little waif. She is a hardened wall of a woman that kicks ass and asks questions later. I have a hard time picturing Gadot pulling this off. It just seems like a rush decision to further infuse this Superman Vs. Batman movie with another DC character that they've always struggled to adapt to film or tv. There are so many better choices out there.
Could I be wrong? Definitely. But as of this second, I'm not too thrilled about this choice.
