Rumor: Zack Snyder Wants More 300 Sequels Outside Ancient Greece

Is Zack Snyder considering more 300 movies?

This ain't sparta!!!
The original 300 was a defining moment in Zack Snyder's career. His 300 was a major box office juggernaut that went on to spawn a fair sequel that didn't come close to its predecessor's ticket sales. Well, it appears that Snyder is hot on the idea of making more movies that will not be direct sequels to his 300, but more so releases that will copy the themes of a smaller army battling a much larger, more refined military force. Snyder says he's possibly interested in making a 300-styled film about George Washington during the Revolutionary War. When asked about his ideas he said:

"We’ve been talking a lot about sort of different incarnations of 300. We’ve been talking about is there a way, possibly, we move out of Ancient Greece and use it as a framing device for other conflicts that happened throughout history.

I think I mentioned that we talked about the Revolutionary War version, and we talked about the Alamo, and we’ve talked about there’s a battle in China, a 'Lost Legion' kind of concept, any of those kinds of things are on the table.”

With his current attachment to the Justice League film and that DC Universe, it's hard to know when something like this might happen, but it seems like this might be a more reasonable way to carry on the torch of those movies without taking us back to the watering hole of Ancient Greece again.  No matter what, it definitely sounds interesting.
