Article: The Latest From The Set of Fifty Shades of Grey

Here's the latest from the set of Fifty Shades of Grey.

On March 25, the very first footage from the heavily anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey was revealed at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, according to Classicalite. Although the footage will not be released yet to the public, the details of it were all over Twitter. While much of the footage was PG-13 and played up the romance between Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, it did offer audience members (most of whom were movie theater owners) a glimpse of what they can expect from this film version of the popular and steamy E.L. James novel. And although this was just a taste of what's in the works for this movie, this footage puts us even closer to experiencing the saga of Christian and Ana on the Big Screen.

From the moment Fifty Shades of Grey achieved notoriety, fans have been itching for more from the popular franchise. Now, everything from wines to bondage products have gotten the Fifty Shades treatment. As Adam & Eve highlights, sex swings, spanking paddles, and blindfolds are growing in popularity, and there's even an official Fifty Shades of Grey wine, which allows fans to get a taste of Christian's ostentatious lifestyle.

Although the film and the buzz surrounding it lost a bit of momentum when Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Fifty Shades of Grey fans clamoring to see more. Now, with the latest sneak previews of the film, fans are once again being teased by the prospect of what's to come. Hunnam bowed out immediately following the announcement that he would play the role of Christian, the release of photos from the set and other cast details had

Last Labor Day, E.L. James took to Twitter to make the big announcement about what sexy actor would heat up the screen as Christian Grey. Before proclaiming that the part would go to Charlie, it was rumored that several other actors, including Ryan Gosling, Ian Somerhalder, and Chris Hemsworth, were contenders for the coveted lead role. After it was announced that Hunnam would be cast as Christian, some wondered if he could successfully pull off the role. Hunnam was quick to shut his naysayers down by pointing out some other steamy, sexual scenes he's been involved in, which was reported by the Los Angeles Times reported back in September 2013.

However, fans were still not impressed by the Charlie Hunnam casting choice, and some even petitioned to have him and Dakota Johnson, who was cast as Anastasia Steele, replaced with Matt Bomer and Alexis Bledel. Due to pressure and a bit of a backlash from his fan base, Hunnam left just days before the film was scheduled to begin shooting in Vancouver. This caused the release date of the film to be pushed back from summer 2014 to Valentine's Day 2015, leading to even more buzz and anticipation about the film.

While the trailer and other film footage won't be shown to the public for some time as particulars surrounding the movie are slowly being released (there seems to be a theme here), Fifty Shades fans won't be kept in the dark for too long as more details, like photos from the set, are steadily being leaked to the public. The CinemaCon trailer also revealed that Beyonce will be featured on the soundtrack singing the song "Haunted." Although things are still pretty tight-lipped, we're getting even closer to a full reveal as the promotional poster for the movie is out, anticipation continues to build on the movie's website, and the full trailer should be released to the public soon. For now, Fifty Shades lovers will have to endure the slow torture of the wait for the film's debut. But, as any well-trained fan knows, it'll be worth the wait.
