Frozen: The Songs Review and Giveaway

We've been given a chance to review Disney's Frozen: The Songs and have two CD copies to give away.

No matter how many times you've heard "Let It Go" or "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" belted out by everyone and their neighbor's cousin, whether on YouTube or in your own backseat (parents, I know you can commiserate), your kids are likely not tired of it. When our review copy of Disney's Frozen: The Songs came in the mail, our girls were so excited, you'd think they hadn't watched Frozen a million times, nor heard the songs, in one rendition or another, 100 million times.

I popped in the CD and there they were, okay, there we were, singing and dancing in the kitchen like we were hearing the music for the first time. Overplayed or not, it stands up. It's catchy. When I was a kid, Disney's The Little Mermaid came out, and I could, to this day, happily listen and sing along to the soundtrack in its entirety. I have a feeling that's what the music of Frozen will be like for my kids.

With a running time of 27 minutes, the CD contains 10 tracks, including both the Idina Menzel and the Demi Lovato versions of "Let It Go", and several tracks featuring Kristen Bell. Perfect for keeping the kids happy in the van while running errands, letting them get the wiggles (and giggles) out before bedtime, or for your own guilty pleasure, Disney's Frozen: The Songs is a must addition to your music collection, or to your child's Christmas stocking.
