The popular sci-fi television series has a trailer for season 3. It will get a 13 episode third season, which will premiere sometime in early 2018. The series has drawn critical praise and has a strong following amongst many fans of the sci-fi genre.
It is based upon a series of books written by Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck and is about a colonial conspiracy set in the future. It stars Steven Strait, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Dominique Tipper, Cas Anvar, Wes Chatham and Frankie Adams. New cast members were also announced at Comic-Con. Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost) will have a recurring as a currently unannounced character, which might be Pastor Anna from the novels. David Strathairn (The Blacklist) will also have what is being described as a major recurring role, but the producers are keeping who the character is under wraps for now.
