Images: Three New EW Covers For Stranger Things Season 2

 
 
 
Here are three new EW magazine cover for the upcoming season of Stranger Things. Co-creator Ross Duffer also spoke with EW and said that all roads in season 2 are leading to the "shadow monster," which is the nickname for the giant creature seen in the trailer and poster. Season one focused on finding Will and defeating the demogorgon, with season 2 containing multiple stories that will intertwine. He said that:

"It’s all connected to this singular threat, which is tied into this shape that Will sees in the sky."

The new season will premiere on Netflix on the October 27, 2017. Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, and Charlie Heaton are confirmed to return this season. They will be joined by Paul Reiser, Brett Gelman, Linnea Berthelsen, Dacre Montgomery, Will Chase, Rob Morgan, and Sadie Sink.

"It's 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana, are still reeling from the horrors of the demagorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down, but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived."
