News: IT And Stranger Things Star Finn Wolfhard Joins The Cast of The Supernatural Horror Film The Turning
Finn Wolfhard has signed on to star in the supernatural horror film The Turning. Variety first reported the news that the Stranger Things and IT star will be in the haunted house film, which is being adapted from Henry James’s novella The Turn of the Screw. It is being directed by Floria Sigismondi (The Runaways), who has directed many music videos and the recent horror short films for The New York Times Magazine.
It also stars Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Fire). Written by Chad and Carey Hayes (House of Wax, The Conjuring 2, The Conjuring 2, and The Crucifixion), the film is being produced by Scott Bernstein and Roy Lee. It is expected to begin filming in the first quarter of 2018. The synopsis is below.
“In the film, a young woman hired as the nanny to two orphans is convinced that the country mansion they live in is haunted. Wolfhard will play one of the orphans.”
