Rumor Mill: It's On: Bad Boys For Life Slated For August Start With New Directors

The third Bad Boys movie has been on again off again for the past couple years. This sequel would gain steam then would be shut down again at the blink of an eye. Apparently, the action flick is back on with a new set of directors at the helm. For a while, Joe Carnahan was slated to write and direct the feature but then dropped out suddenly. The project was fully pulled from their slate of upcoming projects which signaled the end of the long awaited return of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.

Now, Sony has finally decided it's time to get the latest franchise revival in front of the camera. Bad Boys For Life is eyeing an August start with rising directorial upstarts, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. These two are also signed on for the potential Beverly Hills Cop 4. They have a small cache of previous work on the FX series Snowfall and also directed a Belgian based movie called Black, which was a new telling of the Romeo and Juliet story.

If this comes to fruition as fast as they're aiming for, Bright 2 and Suicide Squad 2 may have to shift schedules.
