Sony has acquired the sci-fi spec script Infinite, written by Jacob Chase. Neal Moritz and Original Film will produce. The film is being described as a potential tent pole about a crew of scientists who explore the afterlife. Chase will not serve as the director for Infinite.
Chase also recently made a deal with Amblin Partners to turn his horror short Larry into a feature-length film. Chase is set to write and direct the movie version, and about a monster who manifests through hi-tech devices such as smart phones and iPads.
