Westworld has had a major presence at SXSW this year, and now HBO has released several photos of Season 2, which returns for a 10-episode seadon on April 22nd. The network's presence at the festival has included a Westworld pop-up town that included a Samurai warrior wandering the park, teasing the appearance of Samurai World in season 2.
Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton, James Marsden and Jeffrey Wright were part of the SXSW panel, which didn't reveal much. Marsden said that, “They’ve erased our memories, so we couldn’t tell you."
Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy are serving as executive producers for Season 2, along with J.J. Abrams, Athena Wickham, Roberto Patino, Richard Lewis and Ben Stephenson. Westworld is a Kilter Films and Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros Television. Several new cast members have been previously announced, including Jonathan Tucker, Neil Jackson, and Katja Herbers.
