News: Summer of '84 Set To Be Released This August




The directors of the post-apocalyptic horror cult hit Turbo Kid's new feature Summer of '84 now has an official US release date. François Simard, Anouk Whissell and Yoann-Karl Whissell of RKSS (Roadkill Superstar) directed the film, which is based on a script from Matt Leslie and Stephen J. Smith. It star Rich Sommer, Tiera Skovbye, Graham Verchere, Judah Lewis, Caleb Emery, and Cory Gruter-Andrew. Gunpowder & Sky will release in theaters on August 3rd. The film had its world premiere in January at the Sundance Film Festival, as part of its Midnight program. Check out the synopsis, trailer and some images below.

"The horror-thriller is set in 1984 and centers on 15-year-old neighborhood conspiracy theorist Davey Armstrong who suspects his police officer neighbor might be the serial killer all over the local news. He and his three best friends begin an investigation that soon puts them in danger."
