The third Bad Boys movie has been through the ringer for the last several years. The project has been on again off again numerous times with the studio fully removing it from the slate at one point. Now, it looks like the momentum is at full tilt as the studio is finally revving up for the production on the latest buddy cop feature starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.
Bad Boys For Life has received a January 2020 slot from Sony Pictures. Initially slated for 2017 with Joe Carnahan taking over directorial duties, the movie was eventually shelved as the studio was unsure of the what to do with the second sequel. Now, with a pair of directors at the helm, the guys will be back in action in 2020. We can't wait.
