Release News: Richard Stanley's Hardware Getting A 4K Remaster For Blu-Ray

Perhaps one of the best science fiction films to come out of the '90s is Richard Stanley's divisive masterpiece, Hardware. Now, the film is getting a 4K remaster from U.S. label Ronin Flix to be released in June.

The film stars Dylan McDermott, Stacey Travis, John Lynch, and Iggy Pop. As a sort of anti-Terminator, the movie has drummed up quite a cult following over the past couple decades and features an amazing soundtrack that's supported by a killer post-apocalyptic backdrop and stunning practical effects. On its initial release, Hardware struggled at the box office. But in hindsight, the movie slowly gained a larger fandom.
