Up until now, the DCEU has seen a string of hits and misses. While Wonder Woman was a home run for the franchise, other films like Justice League failed to live up to the massive legacy behind their biggest characters. With other rumors swirling of Warner Bros. considering potentially rebooting the entire brand and the idea of the Flashpoint movie reportedly now in flux, TheOneRing is reporting that Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson is potentially considering helming a film in the DC universe. Whether or not he'll be tackling any of the upcoming Amazon Lord of the Rings series remains to be seen, but it looks like he might switch it up and move on to something new.
Even if this is strictly rumor, he would be an interesting choice to work on one of the DC films.
