Box Office News: Dino DNA: Fallen Kingdom Rules The Weekend

After 2015's Jurassic World went on to become a massive global hit, we all knew more sequels would definitely follow. Apparently, genetically engineered dinosaurs killing people and destroying everything in sight is still as big as it was decades ago. Well, this weekend sees the franchise return to cinemas with another adventure that stars the great pairing of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. This time the adventure may have changed but the numbers don't lie. This thing is huge. The flick is going to draw $144 million from 4,475 screens in the U.S. with an additional $466 million from the foreign markets including a China share of $175 million. With numbers like these, the next chapter is a sure fire thing.

Closing in on second place was The Incredibles 2 with another $79 million. Ocean's 8 is gonna take the third slot with $11 million. The action comedy Tag is estimated to snag $7 million. And Deadpool 2 is still hanging on with the fifth place nod with another $5 million bringing its domestic total to $300 million. Damn.
