As if Solo: A Star Wars Story wasn't enough background for the Corellian smuggler, Marvel Comics is giving us a new series called Han Solo: Imperial Cadet. The new run will give us more details on Solo becoming the best pilot in the Imperial Navy. With Robbie Thompson writing the story and Leonard Kirk handling the art work, Han's time with the Empire will be expanded on further.
Details are as follows:
YOUNG SOLO’S ADVENTURES CONTINUE! HAN SOLO escapes Corellia by joining the IMPERIAL NAVY, vowing to return for QI’RA. But how does a thief used to the chaos of the streets adjust to the order and discipline of the military? Not well! Han’s dream of becoming a pilot is quickly grounded as he realizes he may not even survive basic training!
The series will be a five issue mini-event that will be released on November 7, 2018.
