After months and months of waiting the BBC has confirmed that this fall will finally bring us the 11th series of the ever popular Dr Who. This season is going to be a massive shakeup with Jodie Whittaker taking over the mantle of the eponymous Doctor, the first time a woman has ever played the role in the fifty plus year history of the show.
Today the BBC confirmed in an interview with the Radio Times that she'll be back on the screen "by October", meaning the start date could be anywhere in September or October. This season we know that we'll get an episode traveling to the 60's dealing and that Allen Cumming will appear in an episode as King James the First.
Exciting times are here again for the Doctor and her companions, can't wait to see where this goes.
