Apple has ordered a series produced and showrun by David S. Goyer and Josh Friedman based off of Isaac Asimov’s titular series, The Foundation. The series will be produced by Skydance Television and obviously will air via Apple services.
The series will be set in the thousand years of the Foundation, where a band of exiles discover that standing up against the Galactic Empire will be the only way to save it from destruction.
No details have been released as to when we can expect it or actual distribution. So the project they picked up in April is now moving along. Let’s hope for great things.
