Big news on the Star Wars: Episode IX casting front as Matt Smith of The Crown and Doctor Who fame is cast in a key role in the upcoming film. We don't know if he'll be a Rebel or Imperial, but we are hearing it'll be a part with a major impact.
Matt Smith will be joining returning actors, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Anthony Daniels and Billy D Williams along with newly cast Keri Russell, Richard E. Grant, Dominic Monaghan and Naomi Ackie.
