According to reports Tom Cruise is close to signing on as Hal Jordan in the upcoming Green Lantern movie. What we are hearing is that Tom isn’t happy with the script and Hal Jordan apparently dying in it. If they change that aspect of the script it sounds like he’ll be a go.
We all know the tumultuous history DC has had in theaters in recent years with their movies attracting fan ire and critical dismissals, with the creative changes they are making in their production offices it would seem they are ready to turn that around.
This begs the question, is Tom Cruise a good move or will it plummet into the sea like Goose’s dead body. I got one hope they can pull out of the tail spin and put out movies that fans and critics can love.
