News: Bond 25 Getting A Rewrite From Franchise Vets

All has not been well in the world of James Bond. A couple years back it was unknown if Daniel Craig would return due to his lack of interest in the character. With his eventual committal to the eventual Bond 25, things keep hitting the skids. The latest film was already in the pre-production phases with Danny Boyle attached as director. When he decided to leave the project after a falling out over creative differences, we didn't really know what the situation would be for the latest 007 adventure. Now, it looks like a couple Bond writing veterans are swooping in to save the day.

The Daily Mail has reported that Neil Purvis and Robert Wade are coming back to rewrite the script. Purvis and Wade actually wrote the first treatment for the movie. With Boyle out over a clash that's been reported to be about the villain, the two scribes are apparently getting the project back on even footing for an eventual shoot with Craig back in the role. No new release date has been set at this time, but it's good to know they have experienced writers on the job.
