The director of the now legendary It, Andy Muschietti is in a development deal to adapt the popular manga and anime series Attack on Titan for live action film. The only information available is that it's at Warner Brothers, and it will be his big follow up after It: Part Two.
The manga was written by Hajime Isayama in 2009 and focuses on a world overrun by giant mindless human eating creatures called Titans. Besides the manga there has also been a very popular anime that launched in 2013 and a two part Japanese live action film from 2015.
With David Heyman producing with Masi Oka and Barbara Mushietti, this has a solid chance of being something special.
