Scorsese and Dicaprio have an amazing creative bond that has seen them make numerous films together including The Aviator, The Departed, and the divisive thriller, Shutter Island. Several of their films have received best picture nods by the Academy Awards. The last movie they worked on together was The Wolf of Wall Street. Now the two are pairing again for the dramatic film, Killers of the Flower Moon. No real details about the story have been revealed yet. But this these two behind the movie, we can guarantee it'll be fantastic.
Scorsese will direct the film and Dicaprio will star in the movie they've been considering for the past year. Oscar winner Eric Roth (Forrest Gump) is currently penning the script for the project. If all goes as planned, the movie will potentially see a 2020 cinematic release.
Scorsese's latest, The Irishman is currently in post-production with a 2019 release scheduled.
