Just a couple weeks ago, the Chiodo Brothers, makers of Killer Klowns from Outer Space teased that they had something brewing for a potential franchise surrounding their '80s horror/sci-fi film. Now, on the heals of a weekend that saw an iconic slasher tear through the theaters making a massive cash haul, it looks like the Klowns are being relaunched by SyFy. News just hit the web that the cable outlet is currently in final negotiations to bring them back as a televised movie and will also be bringing back Critters back as well. Critters did spawn numerous sequels in its initial run, so we're not sure if this will be a total reboot or a continuation from the existing movies.
SyFy is also bringing back Leprechaun with a new movie, Leprechaun Returns.
