It's been a while since we've heard from the set of Stranger Things. But it appears that the third season has officially wrapped filming. With all the main players returning to Hawkins for the next batch of episodes, they'll also be joined by Cary Elwes, Jake Busey, Maya Hawke and Francesca Reale. This third season will be set during the summer of 1985 and The Duffer Bros. say we will see the kids still dealing with the Mind Flayer. Producer Shawn Levy says this might also be the darkest of the show so far:
" Season 3 has a really healthy dose of poppy, bright levity and cultural fun. But I can only promise you that season 3 eventually goes places that are darker, and unquestionably more action-packed than we’ve ever gone before."
