Industrial Light & Magic is all in on the new Star Wars series that will be coming to the upcoming Disney streaming service. With the galaxy far far away being one of their main focal points, it looks like ILM is ramping up their work load. It's been announced that they're developing their very own television division to help produce and develop the visuals for the first live action Star Wars show, The Mandalorian. While a first teaser photo has been released of the central character, no other details have been leaked including who might be playing the role.
With ILM on the job, we can be sure that the effects will be amazing. The series is set to take place between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens as the galaxy is still in peril from the after effects of the massive war between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire.
