With the release of the impending end of the Skywalker Saga, Episode 9 and numerous new series for Disney+ about to hit, it looks like the expanded story about Cassian Andor before Rogue One is finally getting some refreshing news. With Diego Luna returning to the role as the Rebel spy, fans are going to get another dose of prequel action that will give us new info and backstory for his character.
According to TheForce.Net and ComingSoon.net, the show is set to finally get into production sometime around October 2019 as other Star Wars projects like The Mandalorian may be wrapping up. This expansion is said to be a spy thriller that will bring more espionage into the universe. This may be a great addition to Disney's roster of genre projects.
