TV News: Step into the Twilight Zone with a New Trailer for Jordan Peele's Reboot

Jordan Peele is going back into the Twilight Zone, and we'll be with him every step of the way.

Today, CBS released a trailer revealing new footage for the reboot coming from and hosted by the director of Get Out and the upcoming horror film Us. The first two episodes are set to premiere on CBS All Access on April 1st.

Confirmed cast members include John Cho, Greg Kinnear, Adam Scott, Jacob Tremblay, Jessica Williams, Jefferson White, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Steven Yeun; among many, many others.

The rebooted series is being produced by CBS Television Studios with  the participation of Peele's own Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg's Genre Films. Peele and Kinberg will executive produce the series and helm the first episodes, with Win Rosenfeld and Audrey Chon also serving as executive producers.

The Twilight Zone had not one, but two short-lived reboots that ultimately failed at recapturing the same suspenseful feeling that Rod Serling gave in his original series; and a film that received lukewarm to mediocre reception and is likely best known for the tragic on-set death of actor Vic Morrow involving a helicopter blade. Hopefully, with Peele behind the wheel this time around, he'll be able to find that bit of essence that made the series so timeless through its original run. Only time will tell, and with a stellar set of A-list actors, there just might be some hope for this series yet. Check out the trailer and the series poster below!
