This week's new to blu releases were slim pickings, however there are a few that are worth a look.
Hellboy Animated (2007) - Dbl Feature
Lionsgate Films has released the Hellboy animated films Sword of Storms and Blood & Iron in one 4K/Blu-Ray/Digital Box set. Special features include audio commentary for both films and six different featurettes about the films.
Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009)
The Criterion Collection is releasing a new edition of Wes Anderson’s beloved stop motion film on Blu-ray with a ton of special features. These include a new digital master approved by Wes Anderson, audio commentary with the director, storyboards for the entire film, puppet animation test, interviews with the cast and crew and more.
The Great Buster: A Celebration (2018)
Cohen Media Group is releasing this documentary about one of Hollywood’s most influential filmmakers on Blu-ray. Directed by Peter Bogdanovich, this feature includes restorations of archival footage interviews with Mel Brooks, Werner Herzog, Ben Mankiewicz, Quentin Tarantino, Dick Van Dyke and more.
Vice (2018)
20th Century Fox is releasing Adam McKay’s Dick Cheney biopic for the first time on Blu-ray. Nominated for eight Academy Awards it’s a film not to miss.
