News from Twin Peaks: Paramount Releasing All 3 Seasons on Bluray & DVD

Grab your percolators (make sure there aren't any fish in them), because Paramount is about to drop another more complete Twin Peaks box set.

Yesterday, it was announced that David Lynch's iconic mystery series would be receiving yet another box set release, this time including the critically acclaimed third season The Return alongside the other two original seasons. It's apparently slated for an October 2019 U.S. release and November 2019 worldwide. Read the press release from Paramount below.

For the first time, in one collection, the complete television phenomenon TWIN PEAKS: All 29 episodes of the original groundbreaking seasons; All 18 parts of the “Limited Event Series” – the return to Twin Peaks – that captivated audiences 25 years later, written by the series co-creators and entirely directed by David Lynch. So grab a cup of coffee, a slice of cherry pie, and experience the legendary mystery… again and again!

Not included in this exhaustive box set is the feature film prequel Fire Walk with Me and its "Missing Pieces"- over an hour and a half of excised and deleted footage from the original theatrical release. That film is currently being put out by The Criterion Collection, who released a sparkling new 4K restoration supervised and approved by Lynch himself back in 2017.

Alongside the three seasons, the box set is also promised to include "a wealth of intriguing, behind-the-scenes special features," but specifics on exactly what is to be included have yet to be revealed. It's probably safe to assume that at least nearly all of the features from The Entire Mystery box set will be ported over, but what all-new features will be included is anyone's guess. Whatever it is, we'll be sure to be more than ready for an ultimate marathon of one of the greatest television events in history.
