Sci-Fi News: Real Life Hero Danny Trejo Boards Sci-Fi Series Paragon

Never one to turn down a great supporting role, the real life hero Danny Trejo is boarding a new science fiction series. Recently he saved a small child from an overturned vehicle, making major headlines in the news cycle. Now, he's ready to get his action on again with a part in the new series that's currently filming its first seven episode season. The premise follows human characters after Heaven has been destroyed.  “With only a small piece of the afterlife to live for, everyone, including Death himself, is fighting to claim the Elysian for themselves.”

The series is currently being shopped and has no specific home quite yet.

The series is being produced by Pikshure Zero Productions with Justin Price in the director's chair. When asked about the series, Price had this to say:

"We have always loved the sci-fi fantasy genre, and we wanted to create a series that explored one of the most intriguing questions of humanity.  Where do we go when we die? And what would happen if Heaven no longer existed?

Paragon is an edgier and grittier cable style series in the vein of Firefly and Altered Carbon. I believe we have an electric hybrid that explores the human spectrum of dealing with loss and love in a stylistic way. Danny Trejo is outstanding as Kincaid, the half-dead leader of disbanded reapers.”
