Galactic News: Deborah Chow To Direct Obi-Wan Series for Disney+

Today, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that director Deborah Chow will be heading the entirety season of the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+. Chow has a stunning resume that includes The Mandalorian, Fear the Walking Dead, Better Call Saul, Mr. Robot, American Gods, and The Man in the High Castle. Considering her amazing resume, she's a great addition to the show that Star Wars fans have been begging for. This will be the first time that Ewan McGregor reprises his role as Obi-Wan since 2003's Revenge of the Sith. Initially, it was rumored that there would be a Kenobi spin-off movie, but was cancelled after the underperformance of Solo: A Star Wars Story.

The story for Obi-Wan is said to take place 8 years after Revenge of the Sith and will go into production sometime in early 2020. Apparently, the scripting process has not been completed at this time and no other details are known. There have been novels that have filled the gaps for the Jedi Master between Episode III and IV but we're not sure if they'll be pulling any resources from those.
