Movie Sleuth Gaming: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy Coming to Nintendo Switch

Now this is some gaming news we can fully support. Any chance we get to play some of the older console games is something we absolutely love.

The last couple weeks have been insanely busy in the Star Wars news cycle. With tons of release news and promotional videos hitting D23, we thought that things were beginning to die down. Well, we were wrong. It's just been announced via StarWars.com that Nintendo is bringing two popular retro games to the Nintendo Switch early in 2020. The pairing of Lucasfilm and gaming developer Aspyr are prepping the games and will allow fans to finally wield lightsabers and use the force with their Nintendo Switch. Online multiplayer will be available for the games and will feature gyro aiming with the Nintendo Joy-Cons.

There is more information available via the Star Wars website in their articles called Replaying the Classics.

The games are also being re-released for the Playstation 4.
